WHAT IS ARTISTE REFINED?
Crafted in a bespoke factory in Hungary, this engineered timber collection takes interiors to elegant new heights, inspired by some of history's greatest artists. Like Artiste Rustic, the Collection includes four warm, contemporary colours inspired by Picasso, da Vinci, van Gogh and Vermeer - and is joined by three exciting new colours inspired by Cézanne, Raphael and Rembrandt.
Artiste Refined's 220mm wide planks offer a 4mm thick wear layer with boards between 1840mm and 2480mm in length. Each extra-long plank is meticulously crafted to create a timeworn feel, protected by a durable Italian lacquer to shield it from the sun's harsh rays, while maintaining a luxurious look and textural feel underfoot.
It is Artiste Refined's surface that sets it apart though. The feature-grade European Oak surface is brushed ever so slightly to softly accentuate the timbers natural grain and characteristics, creating a more refined look and smoother texture than Artiste Rustic. Elegantly hand-brushed, Artiste Refined's feature grade timber is sure to draw you in.

HOW DOES ARTISTE REFINED COMPARE TO OTHER FORTE COLLECTIONS?
The Artiste Refined Collection is a premium engineered timber collection, designed to have a gently time-worn look.
Artiste Refined products are 16mm thick, with a 4mm Solid European Oak wear layer. Planks come in a generous 220mm, adding a touch of grandeur and luxury.
Artiste Refined's feature grade planks embrace the timber's natural character - permitted knots, cracks and features achieve an enhanced natural look. A durable Italian UV-cured lacquer provides the look of a natural oil without the need for repeated maintenance.
Selected colours in the Artiste Refined Collection have been smoked or fumed to alter the colour depth and tonal variation of the wood. Other colours have used reactive stains to create an aged look in the timber. As a result, planks may have unlimited colour and grain variation.
