Sam Wallace's Bayswater Home
Selling their three-bedroom house to get a bigger home for when their twins arrived, Sam Wallace and his partner Sarah Bowman settled on a home in Bayswater in need of renovation through the kitchen and living areas.
Referred to Forté by a friend, Wallace reached out to Auckland Territory Manager, Aaron Wiltshire, who met with the couple on site to discuss what timber flooring options would best suit their needs.
"Because I'm horrific at interior design, we also enlisted (interior design) guru, Nicola Manning", Wallace said, "and she knocked it out of the park."
Using Moda Verona to add warmth and character to the home, the timber flooring was pulled through from the kitchen to the lounge. "It literally transformed the place", said Wallace. "Nicola also built cabinetry into the walls," he said, "marrying up the wood from the kitchen and the floors. Sheesh, she's good."
