Millboard Decking Colour Variation

October 27, 2020

Millboard has been designed to replicate the natural colour variation of timber and it is not intended for each board to be identical in colour. There may also be slight variations in colour between batches, due to the nature of the hand-colouring process.

In particular, Millboard's Antique Oak boasts more tonal variation per board than any other colours in the Millboard collection; this is intentional in view of providing a beautiful and authentic timber look.

Tips for working with colour variation

  • Buy all you need at one time to avoid the possibility of colour variation between different batches
  • Lay out the boards before installing and to ensure the different coloured boards are distributed evenly throughout the area you are installing in
