Commercial Timber Floor Cleaning Guide

Light Commercial (low-medium foot traffic)

We recommend an on-site consultation with an approved flooring maintenance specialist to identify specific cleaning requirements within 6 months of interior use.

ROUTINELY:

• Suggested to be undertaken by the cleaners with each clean, e.g. weekly
• Vacuum entire floor with a soft bristle head (ensure the wheels of the vacuum are clean and freewheeling)
• Clean with a Bona spray mop using the microfiber pad and cleaning Bona wood floor cleaning solution (regularly remove and wash the microfiber pad to ensure it can clean effectively)

6 MONTHLY (for the first 12 months):

• To be undertaken by an approved flooring maintenance specialist
• Deep clean floor using a Bona PowerScrubber machine and specially formulated Bona Deep Clean Solution
• Apply fresh layer of polish, oil, or Bona Wax Oil Refresher (depending on the type of finish on the product installed)

YEARLY (after 12 months):

• To be undertaken by an approved flooring maintenance specialist
• Deep clean floor using a Bona PowerScrubber machine and specially formulated Bona Deep Clean Solution
• Apply fresh layer of polish, oil, or Bona Wax Oil Refresher (depending on the type of finish on the product installed)

Heavy Commercial (high foot traffic)

QUARTERLY (for first 12 months):
