Forté x Hall We Need Partnership

We are super excited to be working with Jessica Britten of Instagram account @hallweneed as she and her partner work to turn a historic hall in Auckland into the home of their dreams.

Jess shares: "I’m thrilled to be partnering with Forté who is helping us upgrade the floor in the hall from old mismatched, rotten board to flooring that looks magnificent and will stand the test of time. We chose the Moda Capri range because it has a focus on quality and sustainable practices, which we value. We can't wait to see the hall be transformed and to share the process with you."

Background story (from Jess's blog): "In early 2016 we moved into our first home, a historic hall in Auckland, New Zealand. Even though it was about as far form a conventional home as possible, we were ecstatic. Still standing but very rough around the edges, the 115 year old beauty was in dire need of restoration. Our vision is to preserve the incredible heritage while we convert it into a home where we can one day raise a family. It is an ambitious project for two DIY novices but we're armed with enthusiasm, keen to learn and ready to take on the challenge. Our budget is limited and skills even more so (for now), we believe we can make up for it with hard work, resourcefulness and a bit of old kiwi ingenuity."
