Custom Wall & Ceiling Paneling for Kinloch Manor

Forté develop a custom paneling product for Kinloch Manor

The design brief for Kinloch Manor was to create a uber-modern version of a Scottish castle to tie in with the Scottish heritage of the Kinloch name. Renown NZ lodge designer Virginia Fisher approached us in search of a rough textured wooden paneling in black and white, for use on the walls and ceilings of the Kinloch Manor.

We worked with Virginia to develop a product called Tactile for this project; a wide plank engineered timber product suitable for wall lining use, with a heavy rough sawn effect applied to the surface. This product was supplied pre-finished with oil in black and white. Tactile was installed on various walls and ceilings throughout the Kinloch Manor, greatly contributing to the manor's castle-like feel. Set alongside lush velvet, fox fur, brass, copper, slate and wool the lodge perfectly achieves an air of modern royalty.

If you are looking to develop a custom timber flooring or wall covering product for a special project, we'd love to help - get in touch with us here.
