Situated in Queenstown, Vineyard House by Anna-Marie Chin Architects is a striking single-storey residence designed as a low-maintenance family retreat that seamlessly integrates with its picturesque vineyard surroundings. The use of Moda Como engineered timber flooring and Tactile Ebony wood panelling introduces a refined, textural quality, elevating both the visual appeal and the functionality of the home.

The T-shaped design of Vineyard House optimizes stunning views of the mountains and gorge while preserving the vineyard’s functionality. The home features an east-west orientation for optimal sunlight, corten steel cladding that naturally blends with the landscape, and sliding walls that enhance the indoor-outdoor connection.

The home’s exterior is clad in corten steel, chosen for its ability to naturally patina and blend with the landscape over time. Inside, Moda Como and Tactile Ebony finishes add sophistication and warmth, complementing the home’s modern aesthetic.

The open, light-filled living and dining areas highlight the home’s modern aesthetic, with elegant finishes and a seamless flow into the kitchen. Moda Como and Tactile Ebony elements contribute to a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere.
