SMART TECH TIPS

To ensure both optimal cleaning and protection for your Forté flooring, there are few key features you want to look out for when choosing your devices:

— Soft Brushes & Rubber Components: Look for models with soft-bristled brushes and rubber wheels/ rollers to avoid scratching or scuffing coatings.

— Adjustable Suction & Moisture Levels: The ability to fine-tune settings ensures that any moisture left behind evaporates within 2 minutes – avoiding over-wetting that could harm timber surfaces.

— Leak-Proof Mop Reservoirs: While today’s mop cleaners are designed to be secure, it’s best to store the unit off timber flooring between uses to prevent any accidental drips.

— Cliff & Obstacle Sensors: Most modern units include sensors to detect stairs, edges, and furniture. Many also allow you to program cleaning zones – great for homes with mixed flooring.

— No Steam Function: Steam mopping may seem tempting, but it can damage your floors and void Forté’s warranty. Stick to cold or lukewarm cleaning modes only.

— Vacuum Maintenance Matters: Regularly emptying dust bins, cleaning filters, and inspecting rollers ensures your unit performs safely and effectively over time.

With the right tools and a consistent routine, keeping your Forté floors looking beautiful doesn’t need to be a hassle – and with smart technology doing the heavy lifting, you can enjoy a cleaner, more comfortable home with minimal effort.
