Alpine residence at Jack's Point, Queenstown. Warm oak tone and classic herringbone bring texture and depth, pairing refined craftsmanship with the rugged beauty of the landscape.

ARTEKUS designed this home with Jess from Forager Studio, and the ambition of the brief called for exacting work on site. In the open-plan living pavilion, soaring cathedral ceilings and positioned skylights pour light across Forté's Moda Capri in Herringbone, the oak's grain catching every angle of it.

Materiality carries the same rigour through the rest of the home. Heavily-veined white marble wraps the kitchen island and splashback against dark oak cabinetry and a built-in cocktail bar. In the private wing, a master suite sits beneath terracotta-painted vaulted ceilings, framing the mountains beyond, while its ensuite pairs hand-glazed, biscuit-toned tiling with aged brass tapware and a glass shower lit by its own skylight.
